At 1,487 meters above sea level, amid cloud-kissed peaks, Maaxwell, a brand under Yuandong, has partnered with Gold Mantis to serve Crowne Plaza Danang Ba Na Hills and VOCO Danang Ba Na Hills in Vietnam. Facing high humidity, heavy fog, and temperature fluctuations, Maaxwell delivered an integrated smart curtain solution, completing custom fabrication for irregularly shaped windows and integration with guest room control systems—showcasing China’s intelligent manufacturing across Southeast Asia.

From China–Vietnam strategic cooperation, to Gold Mantis winning the bid, and then to Maaxwell joining the project—this is more than a simple overseas expansion; it is a journey of China’s intelligent manufacturing.

Ba Na Hills, Da Nang, Vietnam—1,487 meters above sea level, beyond the cable car and amid the clouds and mist. Owned by Sun Group and managed by IHG, the twin hotels—Crowne Plaza Danang Ba Na Hills and VOCO Danang Ba Na Hills—are perched at the mountain summit, making this a benchmark high-altitude mountain resort project in Southeast Asia.

Year-round high humidity, heavy fog, and significant temperature swings pose severe challenges to curtain motors. Maaxwell’s moisture-proof, low-noise, and stable-operation products meet international FF&E acceptance standards. More than a motor, it is an integrated turnkey curtain solution for high-star hotels.

Together with Gold Mantis Soft Furnishing, Maaxwell conducted on-site surveys and rechecked dimensions, customizing blackout and installation solutions for the irregularly shaped windows on the 24th floor of VOCO Danang Ba Na Hills, coordinating pre-embedded wiring and guest room control integration, and meeting the requirements of HBA and other international design firms.

This step opens Maaxwell’s cooperation channel with IHG’s international brands and sets a benchmark for Chinese smart window furnishings going global. Atop the cloud-kissed peaks, China’s intelligent manufacturing is being seen by the world.
